Laugfs Holdings introduced Laugfs Labandiyawa, Hitha Sanasana Sathkaraya, a novel concept in rewarding loyal customers of its Laugfs Supermarket chain. This will be in line with the life style continuation benefit to the customers.

As a local venture since 1995 Laugfs Group has introduced a number of initiatives for the benefit of the customers. We will invest more in the retail market and plans to set up vibrant super market chain in the country, Laugfs Holdings Chairman W.K.H. Wegapitiya said.

As a truly Sri Lankan company we have a different approach to super market selling.

This loyalty card which comes with an insurance cover is first of its kind for a super market, he said at the launching ceremony held last week in Colombo.

This value created service for hassle free living offers moneys worth to a choice of their own for customers of all walks. The service is

with a view to provide an unstoppable solace to the dependents of the bereaved families. This is another first by a local conglomerate and the loyalty card is introduced with an insurance cover.

The current trend of accidents taking place in the country have deprived livelihood to many underprivileged families. Laugfs Supermarkets have realized this due to its exceptionally customer friendly approach and personal touch they have maintained in doing

businesses with a multitude of people.

Laugfs Supermarket partnered internationally famed Chartis Insurance in providing this service to the customers. The Laugfs Supermarket will issue a certificate to the value of 33 times of the bill that will give relief to families who are in need for assistance on a

situation of a disability resulted in an accident of the breadwinner.

We have invested heavily and these investments are been made in building and maintaining our own identity, Wegapitiya said.
