Lyceum Nugegoda athletes excel

At the recently concluded Dehiwela-Ratmalana Divisional Sports Meet, athletes of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda performed well winning many events.

The performance of the Lyceum students were unique as this is the first time they participated in a national event.

The following students were placed at the meet.

Results of the Lyceum athletes:

Shanuka Sapugoda (under 15 boys): 100m - 1st place, 200m - 1st place.
Devini Wickramasinghe (under 15 girls): 100m – 2nd place, 200m – 1st place.
Devin Diddeniya (under 15 boys): High jump – 1st place.
Sanduni Wijesinghe (under 17 girls): 100m – 2nd place.
Rashmi Perera (under 17 girls): 200m – 3rd place.
Shenal Silva (under 17 boys): 100m – 3rd place.
Sasindu Senadeera (under 17 boys): Shot put – 3rd place.
Sihan Jayawardena (under 19 boys): 400m – 1st place, 800m – 2nd place, 1,500m – 2nd place.
Ovini Nanayakkara (under 19 girls): Shot put – 2nd place, Discus throw – 2nd place.
