Court orders stolen jewellery to be re-exported

The Colombo Chief Magistrate and Additional District Judge Rashmi Singappuli directed the Central Bank to release the jewellery, valued over Rs 137 million, stolen from Liana Vourakis jewellery shop in Athens, Greece.

President's Counsel C R de Silva with Attorneys Rasika Weerakkody, Chanaka Rankothge instructed by Murugesu and Neelankandan appeared for the complainant - Liana Vourakis, Athens, Greece.
