Rain harvesting scheme for Vavuniya school

Water Supply and Drainage Minister Dinesh Gunawardane together with Industries and Commerce Minister Rishad Badiuddin and Northern Province Governor G A Chandrasiri launched a rainwater harvesting scheme in the Vavuniya Thalikulam Government Tamil Mixed School.

The scheme fulfilled a long felt need of the schoolchildren for drinking water. Rainwater Harvesting Foundation made the containers with the support of USAID .
