Isipatana have it easy

Isipatana College beat St.Anthony's College Kandy by 61 points ( four
goals, six tries and one penalty) to 12 (one goal , one try) at the
Singer Rugby segment one 'A' division match played at Longden Place
yesterday.
The Pathana boys opened scoring with an unconverted try by Kushan
Silva.Ganidu Weerasinghe also helped the side with another try.Uditha
Premathilake contributed with a fine try which was successfully
converted by Hirantha Perera. Hirantha put over a penalty, which helped
to add extra points. Uditha Premaratne scored his unconverted try after
Hirantha. Hasitha Premaratne came up with a try converted by Hirantha
Perera while Kavindu Costa also scored an unconverted try.
The boys from Kandy didn't got any single chance of scoring due to
strong defence of the Isipatana . The lads from Havelock Town led 37 - 0
at the breather.
In the second half, Hasitha Premaratne gave the start for Pathanas
with an unconverted try. Uditha Premathilake scored his third try while
it was converted by Kavindu De Costa.
Again Uditha helped his side with another unconverted try.
Sudham Sooriyaarachchi scored the last try for Isipatana side which
was converted by Hirantha Perera. The Antonians started to score in the
second half with a try by K.Dushyanth.
The second try for St.Anthony's College was scored by Tharaka
