Havelocks in easy 33-10 win

Havelocks Sports Club, beat Police Sports Club by 33 points ( two goals, two tries and three penalties) to 10 ( two tries) at the curtain raiser of the Dialog Rugby League “A” Division Tournament played at Police Park yesterday.

The Havelocks opened their account in the 15 minute of the first half with a penalty by Mohomed Sheriff. Again he put over penalty lifting their first half score to six points. The fierce tackling by Havelock boys didn't allow their opponents to score a single point.The scores read 6 – 0 at lemons.

Chamara Dabare scored the first try for Havelocks in the second half . D.Priyadarshana contributed with a try converted by Mohomed Sheriff. Again Sheriff came up with a penalty adding extra points.Centre Dinesh Kumara scored a try which was successfully converted by Sheriff. Dabare helped the side with another try .The lads from Police SC had to be satisfied with two tries scored by Jeevan Amaradasa(one) and T. Sivadasan(one). Aruna Rankothge referred.
