Cambrians at the peak

Prince of Wales College enjoying this season as their peak year in the twenty five year old Rugby history when they maintained their unbeaten record in the Sri Lanka Schools under twenty division one group ‘C’ Singer League Rugby Tournament match by defeating St. Anne's College Kurunegala with ease by 45 points to 3 to register their seventh victory in a row which was worked off at Kurunegala.

An old Cambrian and former principal Merryl. E.C. Fernando introduced Rugger during his tenure in office not only to Prince of Wales but to the cricket crazy Moratuwa town will be delighted to see that his Alma-mater has blossomed to the top.

Cambrians had seven tries and five conversions with skipper and centre player Randika Warnapura two, Kasun Rajakaruna three, Dulaj Rajakaruna and Bagya Perera one each and Praveen Samarasuriya did all the conversions.
