President's special oration in Thailand today

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will deliver a special oration on 'The benefits to humanity from the Buddha Jayanthi' at the 2600th Sri Sambuddathva Jayanthi celebrations in Thailand today, President's Media Division said in a release yesterday.

The 2600th Sri Sambuddathva Jayanthi celebrations are being held parallel to the United Nations Vesak celebrations at Rajdamnoen in Thailand. President Rajapaksa is also scheduled to meet leading businessmen and investors later in the day. President Rajapaksa is on a four day tour in Thailand as a Royal invitee of the Thai government.
