Woman swindler arrested

A woman was arrested by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) for an alleged fraud where Rs 4,370,000 and 13.5 gold sovereign were swindled on the pretext of promising jobs abroad to several persons.

The CCD conducted investigations following many complaints of breach of trust leading to the arrest of the woman, a resident of Wattala on Tuesday.
