Wasp attack injures 80 women

A wasp attack at a tea estate in Dimbula , Hatton resulted in 80 women being hospitalised on Tuesday.

The women were admitted to Kotagala hospital.

They were discharged later. The incident occurred when a wasp hive in a tea bush was disturbed when the women were plucking tea leaves at the estate.
