Two compartments derailed in train crash

Two train compartments were derailed when two trains collided yesterday.

A goods train collided with another under repair due to engine failure on the same line at Keenawala sub railway station near Veyangoda yesterday.

No injuries were reported.

Sri Lanka Railways General Manager B A P Ariyarathana appointed a committee to investigate the incident.
