Atlas in addition to its existing range of colour products introduces
a blend of new colour products which consists of colour pencils and
pastels, which also meet the international quality standards. The new
range of colour pencils is named as 'Atlas Colour Sparx and the new
range of pastels are named 'Neon', 'Square' and 'Jumbo' accordingly. The
Atlas Colour Sparx has been quality certified by ASTM (American Society
for Testing and Materials)".
When Nishantha Hennadige the Chief Operating Officer/Director
Marketing of Atlas, spoke about the new product range he said, "Our
customers are being loyal to us for the quality and innovative products
we put to the market. The 'Neon' range of pastel colours has the glow
effect with luminous colours. We are proud to be the first manufacturer
and distributer in this range of colours in Sri Lanka.
In addition to all these we have now added gold and silver colours to
this new range of pastel. It is important to note that all our pastels
are non-toxic. Importantly having 'Bi-colour' and 'Jumbo colour' packs
and having the break resistant point are value addition to the local
market."
"Atlas launches this new range of colour pencils named 'Atlas Colour
Sparx' with the intension of giving an extra spark to a child's
creativity therefore, enabling the child to succeed in its endeavour"
said Nirmal Madanayake, the Chief Executive Officer of Atlas. "We always
had the development of children in our mind while introducing new
products to the market. Since the inception we have been introducing
products which eventually became a 'must-have' product in the market. We
strive to cater the different purchasing levels of the market and we are
glad to say that we have succeeded in that. All products from Atlas are
available across the country" he further added.
With its colour product range Atlas has been concentrating in child
development and has introduced various products to help children enhance
their creativity.
Colouring helps develop a child during the early stage of growth
Colour recognition is part of the cognitive learning and eventually it
brings out the skills such as 'coordination, focus and boundaries' of a
child.
Coordination brings out the hand-eye coordination; focus on colouring
develops a child's concentration level even in a noisy environment.
Finally, when a child learns to accept boundaries while colouring, it
learns to respect the limits given to do a task. Therefore, developing
all three skills discussed above is an important psychological
development during a child growth. |
