Thieves nabbed with loot
Two men who had robbed motorcycles, gold chains
and mobile phones from several areas were arrested by Horana Police
yesterday. Police also seized two stolen motorcycles, melted gold
and four mobile phones. The men aged between 35 and 37 are residents
of Moragahahena and Seeduwa.

Navy nabs 11 for harvesting sea cucumber
The Navy arrested 11 persons harvesting sea
cucumber illegally. Sources said Naval personnel attached to SLNS
Kanchadewa of the Northern Naval Command arrested the 11 men who
were illegally harvesting sea cucumber at Melinchimunai on May 9.
