No Mahapola schols for indisciplined students

The Mahapola Trust Fund will suspend or cancel the granting of the scholarship awards to university students responsible for acts of indiscipline depending on the gravity of such wrong doings.

The failure to attend the specified lectures, thesis and practical classes and other study course activities will be considered as acts of indiscipline in terms of stipulation 2(1) made by the Trust Fund, said a press release by the Higher Education Ministry.

The release said the fund has notified the Higher Education Ministry, UGC and all universities to implement these stipulations to the letter and report acts of indiscipline committee by Mahapola awardees for necessary action.
