Lake House Amadahara Vesak Sadhaham Kalapaya

The 22nd Amadahara Vesak Sadhaham Kalapaya organised by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited will be held on a grand scale at the Lake House on May 5,6 and 7 from 6.30 pm.

The Amadahara Vesak Sadhaham Kalapaya is organised under the sponsorship of Sri Lanka Telecom Plc.

Lake House Chairman and Managing Director Bandula Padmakumara and the Director Board will grace the Amadahara Vesak Sadhaham Kalapaya on the the first day ceremony.

Economic Development Deputy Minister and Acting Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardana will be the Chief Guest on the second day on May 6.

Media and Information Ministry secretary W B Ganegala will be the Chief Guest on the third day of the Vesak Sadhaham Kalapaya. The Amadahara Vesak Sadhaham Kalapaya will have a variety of Vesak lanterns on display. The lanterns will be Vesak lantern competition.

Lake House staff will recite Bhakthi Gee on these three days. The Amadahara Vesak Lantern Competition offers many prizes. The first prize for the Vesak Lantern Competition is Rs 250,000. while the second and third prizes are Rs 150,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively. The forth and the fifth places will be presenedt Rs 25,000 and 15,000 respectively, while the sixth to tenth places will win Rs 15,000each.

The 11 to 15 place winners will be presented Rs 10,000 each.Certifcates will also be presented other contestants.
