Budusarana Editor to receive special title

The Sri Rohana Maha Sangha Sabha of the Shyamopali Maha Nikaya will confer the "Lekhanasuri Shasana Bandu" honorary title on Budusarana Editor Caesar Sudusinghe. The Budusarana is a Buddhist weekly of ANCL.

He will receive the 'Sannasa' bearing the honorary title at a meeting to be held at the 'Randupatha' Uposathagaraya Matara on May 10 to coincide with the 27th Upasampada ceremony of the Sri Rohana Maha Sangha Sabha.

An author of several dhamma books, Sudasinghe is a life member of the ACBC.

Born at Mapalana, Kamburupitiya he was educated at Sugathapala Godewatta Vidyalaya, Mapalana Vidyalaya, Siri Ratnajoithi Pirivena Urapola, Vidyaniketha Prievena, Sapugoda and graduated from the Sri Jayawardenapura University.
