vehicular traffic controlling on a high way near a school from 7.00 am

the Kurunegala-Dambulla main road.
He has been doing this job for 11 years since 2000.
"I do that job voluntarily. I gain a mental satisfaction by doing
this. My objective is to protect lives of children. The number of
vehicles plying on the road is increasing day by day." he said.
He joined the Artillery Regiment of the Army in 1987. While he was
serving in Welioya in 1996, he had got caught to a landmine and lost
part of his leg below the knee.

of Ibbagamuwa Model School and parents extend their co-operation towards
me," he said. |
