Homagama - volleyball champions

Homagama Divisional Secretariat women's volleyball team secured the championship title at the Colombo District Women's Volleyball Tournament organized by the National Youth Services Council, recently held at Sri Lanka Youth grounds, Maharagama.

First runner-up was Kesbewa Divisional Secretariat Division's team.

Thirteen Divisional Secretariat Divisions took part at the tourney.

The tournament was held at the Sri Lanka Youth grounds Maharagama recently.

The all island women's volleyball championship tournament will be held in August 2012. 26 district teams will meet at the tourney. This tournament is being conducted to coincide with the National Youth Sports Festival to be held in November 2012.
