Vivekanandan - President of Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket Association

Shivantha Vivekanandan was uncontested as the President of the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket Association for the fifth successive year at the Annual General Meeting, which was held at the De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa, recently.

He promoted the leather ball cricket for the deaf cricketers in Division III, conducted by the Sri Lanka cricket.

He toured India for the 1st Deaf Cricket Asia Cup tournament and Pakistan for the 3 ODI cricket tournaments between the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket team and the Pakistan Deaf Cricket team as an official.

He is the current Vice Chairman, Asia Deaf Cricket Federation and also the President, Deaf School Past Pupils' Association, The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana. As the chairman, centenary celebrations Organizing Committee, Deaf School Past Pupils' Association Section, he organizes a key role for the schools for the Deaf and Blind, Ratmalana which is 100 years this year.
