Divi Neguma Project

Under the Divi Neguma programme, a tree planting campaign was held in Thenmarachchy under the patronage of E. Navaratnam, assistant secretary, Pradeshiya Sabha. The Chavakachcheri urban council opposition leader was the chief guest.

The secretary, Point Pedro Pradeshiya Sabha E.T. Jeyaseelan inaugurated the tree planting campaign. 3500 beneficiaries were supplied tree saplings and seeds. The Velvettithurai Urban Council Chairman S. Anandarajah also participated in the Divi Neguma programme.
