Peterites storm into semis by beating Sokians

St.Peter's College qualified for the semi-finals of the Dialog Youth
Under 19 Twenty20 Championship by beating Dharmasoka College,
Ambalangoda by 87 runs at the Twenty20 quarter final match ended at
Kotahena yesterday.
Deciding to bat first,St.Peter's College piled up 213 runs in 20
overs helped by two fine knocks by Lahiru Milantha (54) and Kavida
Tissera (47). Milantha hammered four sixes and four boundaries in his
sparkling knock while Tissera had five hits to the ropes and three over
it in his attractive innings. Yohan De Silva(three for 26) and Duminda
Chandimal(three for 31) bowled well for the Sokians.
In reply, Dharmasoka could not make much headway and were bundled out
for 126 in 19.3 overs. Despite two good innings by Yohan De Silva (39)
and Adeesha Thilanchana (20). Left arm leg spinner Julian De Zilwa
bagged three for 13 well supported by spinner Sahan Nanayakkara (three
for 16)
