New appointments at KPMG
Mohamed Reyaz Mihular will take the helm of KPMG Sri Lanka with
effect from April 1, 2012 with his appointment as the Managing Partner
and Country Head of the Firm.
Reyaz has been with KPMG Sri Lanka for over thirty years and during
this time his contribution, both to the firm and the field of
accountancy, has been phenomenal.
In addition to holding a number of leadership positions within the
KPMG network, he was also the Regional Executive Officer of the KPMG
Middle East and South Asia Region, a member of KPMG's Global Corporate
Finance Board and served a term in the London office of KPMG. Reyaz most
recently served as the Head of IFRS for the KPMG MESA Region and was
also the Head of Advisory and the Chief Information Officer for the KPMG
Sri Lanka office.
The firm also announced the appointment of Dhammika Bandara Rajapakse
as a Partner of KPMG in Sri Lanka with effect from April 1, 2012.
Dhammika joined KPMG Sri Lanka in 1994 had served in a number of roles
and positions, most recently as a Director - Audit of the firm.
Dhammika previously served a term with KPMG Singapore and as the
Group Financial Controller for the leisure sector of a leading
conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of Sri Lanka and counts over 12 years of experience across a range of
industries.
