Lab on verge of collapse

The science laboratory of Laxapana Central College in the Hatton education zone in the Nuwara Eliya district is in a state of disrepair.

A section of the roof of the laboratory which was constructed several decades ago is decayed and on the verge of collapse.

As a result, students of Laxapana Madya Maha Vidyalaya are compelled to utilize the dilapidated building for experiments relevant to their science lessons with much difficulty.

The school development society appeals to the authorities to reconstruct the science laboratory of Laxapana MMV.
