Colombo International Theatre Festival 2012

The Colombo International Theatre Festival will be held from March 26 to April 2 with the main performnace at the British School in Colombo along with workshops, discussions and meetings at the Goethe-Institut, No.39, Gregory's Road, Colombo 7.

Workshops will be held from March 27 to April 1 under the topics mixed abilities from 10 am to 3 pm conducted by Gerda König (choreographer, director) and Marc Stuhlmann (dancer, assistant director), discussion on contemporary plays from 9 am to 2 pm falicitated by Prof.Dr.Wolfgang Schneider, story-telling thatre from 9 am to 2 pm facilitated by Imran Khan, object thatre from 9 am to 2 pm falicitated by M/s Choiti Ghosh,the Phakama Way (Participatory theatre making processes for young adults) from 9 am to 2 pm falicitated by Prof.Vidyanidhee vanarase and stage lighting for a theatre performance from from 9 am to 2 pm falicitated by Aamir Nawaz respectively.

Paper presentations will be held from March 28 to April 2 under the topics theatre as a pedagogic tool:possibilities and challenges from 2.30 pm to 4 pm presented by M/s Smriti Sharma.
