Nine paddy storage complexes in H'tota

Nine paddy storage complexes have been opened in the Hambantota district to purchase paddy at the certified price of Rs 28 per kilogam.

These complexes have a capacity for 15,000 metric tons of paddy, said PMB Southern Province Regional Manager D S Dissanayaka at the District agriculture committee meeting presided over by Hambantota additional district secretary W A Dharmasiri.
