Trincomalee, which was affected by terrorism, is undergoing rapid
development, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Deputy Minister
Susantha Punchinilame said.
Speaking at the opening of a new branch office of Lake House in
Trincomalee yesterday, he said all communities are living peacefully in
Sri Lanka after President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Armed Forces
eradicated terrorism and brought the country under one flag.
The Trincomalee branch office is the seventh branch of Lake House.
The deputy minister said Lake House publications have been
contributing much for the country's development. Lake House Director
Operations Upul Dissanayake said Lake House branch offices will be
established in all key areas. Lake House publications under the guidance
of Chairman Bandula Padmakumara render a yeoman service, he said. |
