Inter-club division cricket match:
OMVSC grab major honours
Dilwin MENDIS -Moratuwa Sports Corr
Old Moratu Vidyalian Sports Club beat Old Thomians Sports Club,
Matara on first innings in their inter-club division two cricket match
organized by Sri Lanka Cricket and played at Matara. Taking the first
lease OMVSC made 177 runs with Milinda Sepala making the top score of 57
runs with three fours and the six and in reply Old Thomians Sports Club
scored 161 with Lasith Lakshan scoring 64 runs with five fours while
Suminda Manjula claimed 5 for 55.
In their second essay, visitors were all out for 134 with Milinda
Sepala scoring 39 runs.

Milinda Sepala with an elegant 120 runs with fifteen fours and three
sixes helped Old Moratu Vidyalians Sports Club to beat Uva Sports Club,
Badulla on first innings in their inter-club division two cricket match
organized by Sri Lanka Cricket and played at Moratuwa.
Batting first OMVSC made 320 and Uva Sports Club were all out for
298. For OMVSC Roshan Derlin and Nihal Dimbukkuwalage contributed 50 and
59 runs respectively. While Chatura Bandara and C. Surendran got 53 and
63 and D.P. Kariyawasam too contributed 53 runs for Uva Club.
