What price bread?

A woman who sold bread without exhibiting the price list in her shop was fined Rs 10,000.

S S Wathsala of Imbulgoda who pleaded guilty to the charge was fined by Gampaha additional magistrate and additional district judge Indika M Athanayake. Consumer Protection Authority, Gampaha branch prosecuted.

Meanwhile, two suspect transporting nine cows in a van were taken into custody by the Police at Kandana town on Tuesday.

Police said of the nine cows, one had died.

The cows were being transported from Dambulla.
