NYSC organises Sri Lanka Youth Excellence Awards Ceremony

The National Youth Services Council (NYSC) has taken measures to offer national awards to experts in various fields of employment, an NYSC official said. “The NYSC has organized Sri Lanka Youth Excellence Awards Ceremony(Top Twenty) covering 20 fields of employment,” he said.

The first phase of the programme will be held on March 9 at the Sri Lanka Youth premises, Maharagama, with the participation of 2,000 youth, “The main objective of this programme is create a social background with vocationally qualified people for the betterment of the country by encouraging youth.” the official said. Best youth entrepreneur, announcer, new inventor, employer, journalist, writer, chef, technician, environmentalist, local agriculture producer, poet, leader, teacher, architecture, student, etc are the categories to be selected under this programme.
