SEC holds ‘Investor Day’ in Batticaloa

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) in
association with the Batticaloa District Chamber of Commerce, Industry
and Agriculture conducted an “Investor Day – an educational workshop” on
March 3 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m at the Thevanayagam Hall in
Batticaloa.
The “Investor Day” featured prominent professionals from the
securities industry, who addressed the gathering on a wide spectrum of
topics ranging from basics of investing in the stock market, salient
features of the stock market, risks and return in investing and
investing in Unit Trusts. |
