Speed is Power

Last week, some of the essential factors to being a successful racer
were portrayed. This week, we will explore more on the other factors
that are definitely needed by any person wishing to end up as a racing
professional.
Along with all the elements in our hearts that add to the passion of
motor racing, there comes the idea of obtaining a superbike. There are
many models today and fanatics have a wide range of choices. Honda,
Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Ducati are the most favourable options
available, and it is upon the racer's wish to choose his bike. The bike
should be light, speedy and cater to conditions such as an
electronically combined ABS and low body mufflers.
After you buy a bike, you cannot expect to simply climb over it and
zoom away. Racing needs an experienced coach and extreme care. If
mishandled, you could crash and shatter your racing dreams as well.
Training is all that's important. It is not possible to think of
victories if you do not know how to handle a superbike. A good trainer
and an easy-to-reach practice track are the basics when it comes to
motor racing. The most successful racer is one who has received training
on bicycles when he was small, and then on heavy bikes, whether it was
with the intention of chasing his dreams or to simply go joy riding.
A racer should be able to adapt himself to all harsh conditions,
whether it be bad weather or injuries. To prevent really harmful
injuries, the obvious material every racer should use is a helmet. An
attractive racing suit comes next. These suits are protective; they
prevent harsh scratches and burns that racers sustain on fiery hot
racing tracks.
Racers today wish to obtain these suits early so they can try them
out and make them feel comfortable, rather than feeling stuffy and
uneasy when it comes to the Big Day.
Okay. Now we have the trainer, the bike and the suit. What more is
needed? People today desire a ride on free roads, especially at night,
and these nightly rides with a bunch of supportive friends can improve
riding skills greatly, as the rider is free to zip along the roads,
regardless of any rules.
With these gifts at hand the rider can begin his racing career. These
are still not enough to become the racer of anyone's dreams; and the
other important aspects of a racer's sports life will follow this week's
edition of 'Speed is Power'. |
