A fine knock of 86 runs by the mainstay of Dharmaraja batting Viraj Karaputugala and a fighting knock of 63 by Sasith Gunasekera helped Dharmaraja College, Kandy to score 226 for 7 wickets against D S Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo on the first day of their cricket fixture at Lake View yesterday.

D S Senanayake were 116 for 5 in 435 overs at close.
