The Zahira College, Colombo Primary Sports Day was held at the College grounds recently under the patronage of High Commissioner of India Ashok K Kantha and he was the chief guest. Former Captain of the Zahira College Cricket and distinguished old boy M Devaraj graced the ceremony as guest of honour.

Angora House got the best house and/Drill display award and best march past award went to Baghdad House.

Angora House emerged champions and chief guest Ashok K Kantha distributed Champion Shield to captain of the house Humaid Salahudeen.

Also chief guest launched the 120 years of Zahira College logo.

Chairman of the Board of Governors and OBA President Fowzul Hameed, Principal Mohamed Jiffry and chief guest addressed the gathering.

Parents, Old Boys, and Well – wishers were present at the ceremony.
