Deniyaya Range Forest Office officers
took a man into custody at the Deniyaya Panilkanda Forest
Reserve while selling sambur flesh. Investigations revealed
that the man had killed the sambur in the forest reserve.
The raid was conducted by range forest officer, Deniyaya N L
Abeysekara and forest field assistant, Panilkanda Samira
