Mackwoods energy awarded ISO certification

Panasonic launches new ECONAVI air-conditioners
Panasonic, a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of
electronic products, and Softlogic, The distributor for Panasonic in Sri
Lanka, announced today at the Architect Exhibition 2012 held at the
BMICH, the introduction of 10 new air conditioner models under the
ECONAVI series with additional Sunlight Detection feature, that can give
more energy savings of up to 50%*1 for Inverter models and 35%*2 for
Deluxe Non-Inverter models respectively. This new feature detects
changes in sunlight intensity in the room to reduce energy wasted under
less sunlight conditions.
The ECONAVI series are also equipped with the existing intelligent
and ecologically-sound feature that helps control airflow volume and
room temperature by self-detecting human presence/location and level of
activity and self-adjusts its cooling power to reduce energy wastage.
Announcing the launch, Matt Nagatoshi, Senior Coordinator of
Panasonic, said: "These new models with ECONAVI technology can help
consumers bring the reduction of energy consumption to a new level and
further empowers individuals to save energy easily and contribute to the
