Yoshitha to lead Sri Lanka rugby team

Dashing flanker and Navy skipper Yoshitha Rajapaksa has been picked to lead the Sri Lanka rugby team at the Asian Five Nations Rugby Tournament which will be held in Philippines in April this year.

Rajapaksa’s inspiring leadership of the Navy rugby team last year resulted in the Sailors finishing second in the Caltex ‘A’ Division League and he has been richly rewarded by being appointed captain of the Sri Lanka rugby team.

Yoshitha first donned the Sri Lanka jersey at the Asian Division One Rugby Tournament in Singapore in April 2010 and has been an automatic choice for the national team since then.
