STF nabs nine cattle thieves

The Special Task Force (STF) arrested nine cattle rustlers and saved 34 cattle while being taken to slaughterhouses in several locations yesterday. They were arrested from Polpithigama, Pulmudai and Samanthurai, the Police said. The Police said the cattle are worth around Rs 770,000 . The suspects were handed to relevant police stations for further investigations.
