It's all about team spirit
SAMAHA ISMATH ALI
No sport is complete without outside help, be it from a group of
friends, family members, or a coach. In Moto GP, team spirit is needed
due to the various set of benefits that it brings along. Being a team
helps in bringing out the true skills of the rider, and among the best
teams that we see in today's races is the Repsol Honda Team.
The Repsol Honda team |
The Repsol Honda team won the award for the best racing team in 2011,
and are obviously vying for the top spot again. The team's riders are
Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso.
However, 'Dovi' is reported to join the Tech 3 Yamaha tem for the
upcoming racing season, and is currently recovering from a collarbone
injury. The racing pro is ready to undertake his next challenge with the
team and is preparing for the battle. The reason the Repsol team were
successful last year brings us back to the title of today's article-Team
Power.
The three riders did their best, sacrificing much and going through a
lot of difficulties. There were a few nasty accidents throughout the
season, but the racers were steadfast in all the events they took part
in, resulting in the MotoGP Champion of 2011, Casey Stoner. The HRC
Executive of the team, Shuhei Nakamoto, commented on the official test
ride before the start of the season as "The machine worked well".
The team is full of experienced professionals from all parts of the
world, each committing himself towards the team's success and excellent
performance. Motor racing requires extremely speedy, skilled machine
operators who are able to manouevre and handle the bike easily during
all parts of the event.
This means that a racing team will definitely need trained machinists
to change tyres in the blink of an eye and to service the bike as fast
as possible when the riders enter the team tents. The Repsol team is
thankfully gifted with such fast members that they rarely need to worry
about the lack of speed.
The entire team is observed during the races to be highly attentive
and on their feet at all times. This enables the team to work as one
stable body, rather than a mixture of scrambled eggs on the racetrack.
The team has a high rate of performance, and an excellent team. What
more could a professional, world renown team ever ask for?
They have the season spread in front of their eyes like a carpet, and
nothing can stop this spirited, cheery team from winning the MotoGP.
We will just have to watch out for the Repsol Honda team, or wait for
another team to take their place. Though there is a possibility of this
taking place, the team will not let the chance escape like sand from
their fingers, they will fight back..! |
