Navy rescue Indian fishermen in distress

Sri Lanka Navy personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command rescued four Indian fishermen and their vessels with the assistance of the North Central Command at the North Thalaimannar sea on Thursday.

They were handed over to the Thalaimannar Police.

The trawler bearing registration number TN/10/MFB/176J had developed engine trouble and was towed to Thalaimannar by Sri Lanka Naval ship Ranadeera.
