Viharaya hall was opened by meijyo lions Club president
Takeda Kenji in nagoya, Japan and international governor
sunil watawala on Febru-ary 7. sixteen members of meijyo
lions Club participated in the ceremony. The meijyo lions
hall was built to commemo-rate the 50th anniversary of
meijyo lions Club, nagoya on the request of Ven Kirimetiyane
wimalawansa Thera and negombo host lions Club of sri lanka.
The cost of the building is rs 4 million. |

| a man eating crocodile in ragama
wednesday fell into a trap laid by a youth. This croco-dile
had attacked a youth who went to cut grass for cattle.
several heads of cattle, dogs and other animals in the area
were also eaten by the crocodile which was 19 feet long.
