The Indian government has agreed to grow a one acre herbal park in
the Parliament compound, Indigenous Medicine Minister Salinda
Dissanayake said.
He was addressing the joint meeting at the Sri Lanka Foundation
Institute on February 19.
India will help with the launch of this project providing the
required funds, technology and planting methods. An Indian delegation
has already held discussions in this regard with Speaker Chamal
Rajapaksa. This project will further enhance the existing strong ties
between two countries.
