Easy routes to Deyata Kirula

The Police Public Relations Unit informs the public of easy access routes to the Deyata Kirula Exhibition site. The Police request visitors from Colombo to take A4 route ( Negambo, Chilaw , Puttlam to Nochchiyagama ) and turn left at Nikawewa Junction after passing Nochchiyagama and proceed to Oyamaduwa.

The other route is to go past Kurunegala, Wariyapola, Padeniya, Daladagama, Ambanpola, Galgamuwa to Thambuttegama and turn left at Thambuttegama clock tower and proceed to Ottappuwa Junction on the Puttlam road.

They can drive to Nikawewa Juncion towards Nochchiyagama and proceed to the Oyamaduwa Deyata kirula Exhibition site.

The police say that by taking these two routes from Colombo, the visitors can avoid travelling to the Anuradhapura town in order to reduce distance which will ease the traffic congestion during the exhibition period.
