Deyata Kirula attracts over 300,000 on first two days

Over 300,000 people had visited the Deyata Kirula exhibition at Oyamaduwa on February 4 and 5 upto midnight, said Telecommunications and Exhibition Committee chairman, Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya.

They expect two million visitors to the exhibition upto the concluding day on February 10. Meanwhile, Anuradhapura mayor H P Somadasa said all hotel and restaurant owners have been asked to ensure that hygienic food items are offered to the public visiting Anuradhapura to witness the exhibition.

He said PHIs have been deployed round the clock to ensure that this directive is observed to the letter.
