Kandy - Mahiyaganaya road closed

The road leading to Kandy from Mahiyanganaya, was closed yesterday evening due to a landslide.

The Police said that the landslide had occurred in the Tampitiya area in Ududumbara. The Police also said that motorists had been advised to use alternate routes. The Police also said that it was raining heavily at the time that this edition went to press.
