Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa met Ambassador of Czech Republic for Sri Lanka Miloslav Stasek at the Ministry of Economic Development recently. The discussion focused on improving economic cooperation between the two countries. With the main focus on Czech Republic funded projects and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka. The Ambassador of Czech Republic pointed out that Sri Lanka has become an attraction for foreign direct investments. Many overseas investors visited Sri Lanka because of investment friendly environment. Therefore investors of the Czech Republic will also continuously invest in Sri Lanka.
