MoU to benefit Chambers

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) recently signed a MoU at its office, D R Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10 with the Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

The MoU was signed by Deputy President of National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka Thilak Godamanna and President of Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MNCCI) Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Gafoor, on behalf of the respective organizations. MoU paves way for both Chambers to work for mutual benefits of their members.

It covers co-operating with each other in promoting and widening economic co-operations through commercial, trade and investments between the two countries, exchanging trade information and assisting each other in conducting business promotion events in either country.

Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Gafoor arrived at Sri Lanka to address the Sri Lankan business community engaged in business with Maldives at a seminar organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. Over 45 members of the business community participated.
