Several inquiries from overseas:

Following the news item in the Daily News under the headline 'Biscuits from vegetables and fruits' on December 20, 2011, the innovator of these biscuits, a resident from Kataragama, has got several inquiries from overseas.

The resident who does not wish to reveal his identity has made biscuits out of bread fruit, ripe jak, beans, pumpkins and carrot.

A foreign investor from Toronto, Canada has informed him that he is ready to buy his technology for a biscuit factory he is planning to start shortly. Some others from abroad has also asked for samples of the biscuits while some had already asked to be appointed as agents in their countries for the new product.

He has also informed about the invention to the President. A state bank has also promised to give him a loan to start a factory.
