Ananda in a strong position

St.Anthony's College Katugastota were 182 in their first innings of the match against Ananda played at Ananda Grounds yesterday. Yohan Woods was the only batsman to excel with 63 runs inclusive of six boundaries while Pasindu Madushan became the main wrecker (51 for 8).

Ananda were 162 for 3 in 94.1 overs in their first innings.Kushil Perera contributed Ananda with 49 runs well supported by Danuka Madushan(48) while Sachin Bulathsinhala was the only bowler with two wickets for 36 runs. The match will resume today at 9.30
