Access Telecommunication Services projects in Oman, Jordan

Access Telecommunication Services (Pvt) Limited (ATSL), a leading engineering services contractor in the Telecommunication and Broadcasting industry expanded its portfolio of successfully concluded international projects with receipt of final acceptance for its project in Oman.

ATSL, which is an Access Group Company ventured into international projects in 2009 and has been securing progressively bigger and wider scope projects in South Asia, Middle East and South East Asia.

The project in Oman, which was awarded by Rohde and Schwarz Emirates LLC, was for the FM Radio Broadcast Modernization project implemented for Ministry of Information in the Sultanate of Oman.

The project awarded in 2010 was successfully completed in 2011 as planned, and Acceptance Certificates were issued by the client and Min Contractor.

The project involved the installation of Antenna systems, construction of Broadcast Towers and Transmitter Systems in 15 different locations across various regions in Oman.

The system installations included construction of towers ranging from 30 to 120 metre heights as well as broadcast systems that were from 10 to 20 KW. ATSL's project team was instrumental in successful implementation of this project and Rohde and Schwarz has earmarked ATSL for further projects due to its performance

"Oman FM Project gave us valuable experience in working in challenging environments, which were both location and environment dependant. We are proud of our team, which demonstrated, skill, adaptability and focus" said Mithila Mendis, Chief Technology Officer of ATSL.

The project in Jordan, which is implemented for JRTV includes turnkey construction of Tower at the broadcast system, Antennae systems etc. was awarded by Rhode and Schwartz, subsequent to the successful completion of Oman Project.

We will continue our focus in expanding operations internationally, where the experience gained will add value to our customers in Sri Lanka" said Damitha Kariyawasam, Chief Marketing Officer of ATSL.
