Sujeewa to coach Antonians

Former Prince of Wales College, Old Cambrians and Police cricketer
Sujeewa Gunaratne has taken over the coaching of the St. Anthony's
College cricket team this season. In addition to coaching the under 19
and 17 cricket teams, he will also be overall in charge of cricket at
St. Anthony's College.

It must be recalled that Sujeewa Gunaratne was the District Cricket
coach at Badulla and Colombo attached to Sri Lanka Cricket. He has also
cricket coaching experience in Bangladesh where he also played as a
professional in club cricket. He has also played club cricket in
Australia.
He has coaching experience at Prince of Wales College and was also at
St. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia assisting Ranil Abeynaike.
He has the level two coaching certificate and has in all over ten
years experience. His last assignment was in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia as
the Junior Development Coach and was based in Penang.
With Sujeewa Gunaratne to guide the Antonian Eagles should ride high
in the future. |
